Leticia Deveza
Dr. Leticia Deveza is a rheumatology specialist in private practice and a post-doctoral
researcher at the University of Sydney Medical School. Her research focus
is on the heterogeneity of osteoarthritis and on how precision medicine
can improve the care for people with osteoarthritis.
Leticia is an investigator on the ongoing FNIH Biomarkers Consortium
Project which received over $2 million in grants to qualify OA biomarkers
for clinical and research use. She has obtained valuable clinical and
research experience as a clinical and research fellow between 2015 and
2016 at Royal North Shore Hospital prior to her PhD undertaken from 2016 to 2019. As a
clinician, she manages patients with inflammatory and non-inflammatory musculoskeletal
conditions.
